Resources

In any business, it’s important that the right people have access to the right versions of the right documents at the right time. Formitize solves this problem with the Resources module.

Resources are read-only items and can be any type of document such as Safety Information, Operating Manuals, Licences and Permits, Pricing Catalogs, Marketing Material, Training Guides - essentially any type of document that needs to be accessed and viewed.

You can create and name Folders and then upload Resource items to those folders. Once uploaded, users with the correct permission can access and view the Resource from either the Management Portal or the Mobile App.

A number of updates have been made to Resources:

1. Resource Folders and the Resource items themselves are now stored alphabetically to help make it easier to find. The Search feature remains available for quickly finding items too.

2. Resources can be emailed and PDF Files can now also be printed. Simply swipe the Resource from left to right and you will be given two options - to either Print or Email the Resource directly from the App.

 

CRM Customer Documents

CRM Customer Documents are essentially the same as Resources however they are documents relating specifically to a customer. These might include Site Plans & Floor Plans, Contracts and Agreements, Reports, Submitted Forms - any document related to the client.

In the same way as general Resources, Client Documents can be uploaded and will then be available for Management Portal and App users to view.

To access Customer Documents in the App, go to CONTACTS in the App, select your customer and then select the Document Tab:

 

The Document Tab includes two sections:  NOTES and DOCUMENTS

Select the DOCUMENTS option and you will see all Folders and related Documents for that customer. You can swipe the Document from left to right to either Email or Print the Document from the App.

The end result is the ability to provide mobile app users in the field with access to specific client documents that they can view, print or email directly from the App.
